Frederick Charles Represents Nazareth Police Chief Thomas Trachta in Federal Lawsuit

Attorney Frederick Charles is representing Thomas Trachta in a federal lawsuit against former Mayor Carl Strye Jr. The lawsuit claims that Trachta was stripped of his authority as the top police official due to his outspoken criticism of Strye.  Trachta said then-Mayor Carl Strye Jr. fumed when the chief called him a liar, a felon and a thief.

Strye was under suspicion for embezzling $843,000 from the Vigilance Hose Fire Co. while he served as company president. Strye later admitted he took $8,000 and resigned as mayor last month. Click here to read the full story from the Morning Call.
